For the sake of full disclosure, my name is Allen Johnson and I am one of the Partners in High Country Thoroughbred Equine Products. HCT IceGel was originally formulated to send to our trainer at the race track, in an effort to lower monthly veterinarian bills for our horses in race training.  I mixed some of the ingredients we used 38 years ago with modern day ingredients in an effort to make a modern product that would get the job done. And surprise, it all worked.  It not only lowered our monthly veterinarian bills at the race track and promoted healthier race horses, but I started using it on myself, primarily on my injuries received from dealing with horse in all phases of their training while in my youth.  I will not go into my health problems, but will summarize with the following.  I was taking ten (10) ibuprofen daily in an effort to make it through the day.  I realized I was doing damage to my liver and other organs, but I also had to function in order to try and have a normal life, even if it meant shorting my life by taking so much pain medication.  Quality of life had a lot to do with it. Gary Chambers, a licensed trainer and ferrier from Utah, reports: I am a Ferrier and licensed trainer.  I noticed that the HCT IceGel contributed to advanced edema control and increased blood flow when used daily.  When HCT IceGel is used daily, the hoof grows faster. This gave me the idea to use it on my own 2 year old filly I am training for the races.  She had a growth on both the inside and outside of her right front cannon bone that was caused from a trailer loading accident when she was a yearling.  After applying HCT IceGel 3 times a day for 3 months, the growth was drastically reduced to the point that I feel good about her chances of continuing her race training, which we never delayed or stopped. Royce Johnson, horse owner and trainer from Utah, reports: After being introduced to HCT IceGel as a leg brace to be used on my three two year olds fillies, I found (while applying it) my 68 year old hands & wrists were feeling much better while most of the arthritis pain was going away.  I started using it on my shoulders and knees with most of the pain being dispatched. My 3 fillies’ legs are tight, strong and their hoof growth has increase dramatically.  My Ferrier attributes it to increased blood flow to their hooves.  I don’t know if this is the case but the results are there.  I am now a believer in the product.  So much that I have purchased 4 oz. jars and given them to friends and relatives for everything from tennis elbow to corporal tunnel syndrome.
